Crown lengthening
| Crown lengthening is a surgical procedure performed by a Periodontist to expose a greater amount of tooth structure for the purpose of subsequently restoring the tooth . The procedure could be used to help a crown fit better or it could be used for the treatment of gummy smiles. Crown lengthening is a great tool for the SMILEKRAFTER periodontist to give you a great and long lasting smile. |

Gingivitis
| Gingivitis is the inflammation of the gingival/gum tissue without loss of supprting bone. Gingivitis is an irritation of the gums. It is usually caused by bacterial plaque that accumulates in the small gaps between the gums and the teeth. Brushing and flossing on a daily basis and going to your dentist every 6 months for your regular check ups and cleanings could prevent this from happening. |

 |
Periodontitis/Gum Disease
Periodontitis is the severe inflammation of gum tissue along with loss of supprting bone around the teeth. It is the stage after gingivitis if left untreated. some of the signs of gume disease are : |
|
| |
Redness or bleeding of gums while brushing teeth, using dental floss or biting into hard food. |
| |
Gum swelling that recurs |
| |
Halitosis, or bad breath, and a persistent metallic taste in the mouth |
| |
Gingival recession, resulting in apparent lengthening of teeth. (This may also be caused by heavy handed brushing or with a stiff tooth brush.) |
| |
Deep pockets between the teeth and the gums.) |
| |
Loose teeth, in the later stages |
|
|
| At SmileKrafters our experienced team of gum specialists are ready to treat all these problems. |

Gum Contouring
| Healthy, well-contoured, pink gum tissue compliments and frames the teeth. The esthetic framing of the gum tissue is as important to the teeth as a quality frame is to a painting. Gum tissue that is red and swollen, and unsymmetrical in appearance detracts from teeth that are otherwise healthy.if you teeth look small or short gum contoring might be the solution. The cosmetic gum lift is a remarkably simple cosmetic procedure that can make a tremendous difference to one's smile. Our in house team of gum specialists use the latest technics and technology to make it as easy and comforting for you. |
|
Implants
| Dental implants are artificial tooth replacements.Although you have a number of restorative options for the treatment of missing teeth, none have proven to be as functionally effective and durable as implants.Dental implants are stronger and more durable than their restorative counterparts (bridges and dentures). Implants offer a permanent solution to tooth loss.Today's dental implants are virtually indistinguishable from other teeth. |
